STAFF BIOS

Diane Poslosky, Executive Director
Diane has served as the Executive Director of ETC for over 20 years and as a teacher and facilitator of experiential education for 22 years. In 1991 she won the California Teachers Association Gold Award for excellence in educational programming. Under her purview, ETC was awarded the San Francisco Foundation’s John R. May Award for nonprofit excellence and creativity. She holds a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University, Sonoma, and a Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado.

Jenn Porecca, Executive Assistant
Jenn joined the ETC staff in May 2007 as the executive assistant to Diane Poslosky. Jenn is also an artist. Her excellent organizational skills in support of staff projects have been essential to our programs and event planning.

Davido Crow, River Program Manager
Davido is an accomplished guide in all of ETC's programs as well as role model for our Youth Leadership Program — he began as a participant in ETC's first Youth Leadership School in 1990. From 1995-98, he served as ETC’s Assistant Area Manager and Live-In Trip Leader. In 1999, Davido served as ETC's Field Coordinator. In 1998-1999 he ran ETC’s Youth Leadership School and Winter Cross-Country Skiing Program. He is now the River Program Manager for the river program. He has thirteen years experience working with the outdoor industry and with special populations. He is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, and has been trained and involved in swift water rescue for many years. He holds a Bachelors degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus in social Psychology and an interest in communication and leadership.

Allison Maffei, Sea Kayak Program Manager
Allison has been associated with ETC for years as a River Guide before taking on the Sea Kayak program in 2007 from Greg Milano.

Cheyenne Berry, Youth LEAD Program Manager
Cheyenne is a long time ETC Sea Kayak volunteer. She joined ETC's office staff in 2005 as our Winter Program Manager, then accepted the Youth LEAD Program Manager position in the spring of 2006. She has been involved in the Youth LEAD Program as a trip leader and we are thrilled to have her on full-time!

Kristi Grøtting , Winter Program Manager
Kristi has been a volunteer with ETC's sea kayak and ski program since 1997, and has also been involved with our disability awareness trainings. After founding and developing an adaptive cycling program for the Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program, she furthered her studies at California College of the Arts as a graphic design student.
