Gracie Oliva

Sea Kayak Program Manager

Gracie (she/her) joins the ETC team with a background in everything aquatic recreation. Originally hailing from San Francisco, she has spent most of her life exploring the Northern California coastline, both on and under the water. Gracie has her ACA Kayak Instructor, US Sailing Instructor, and NAUI Divemaster certifications, specializing in small boat sailing instruction, sea kayak instruction, and scientific diving. She graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2022 with a BA in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Outdoor Adventure Leadership and Leadership Diving. Her passion lies in being able to provide historically marginalized communities equitable access to outdoor spaces, specializing in understanding how “blue spaces” can provide unique and life-changing opportunities for people of all abilities and backgrounds.
During her free time, you can find Gracie diving off the coast of Mendocino culling urchins, swimming in the San Francisco Bay with her mom, or spending time at home playing with her two black cats. She is ecstatic to be able to work with ETC and continue to bring folks of all abilities to outdoor spaces.
