A San Francisco native, Jerry (he/him) has worked in outdoor youth programming for over 10 years. He graduated from San Francisco State University in 2017 with a B.S in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration. Prior to being the River Program Manager, Jerry has facilitated adventure challenge courses, team-building events, and nature hikes to communities in the Bay Area.

Jerry has been with ETC since 2013. Starting as a volunteer for the Sea Kayak Program, he has also instructed multiple YouthLEAD courses throughout his time with ETC. Jerry went on his first river rafting trip in 2014 with ETC and got inspired by the whitewater on the South Fork of the American River. He completed ETC River Guide School in 2015 and has been a consistent volunteer for the program since. In recent years, he has taken on more leadership roles in the River Program such as Trip Leader, Program Associate, and Operations Manager. Jerry is passionate about sharing the joys of river rafting and outdoor adventure with ETC participants.
