Posie (pronounced Poh-zee) (she/her) grew up exploring the mountains, coast, and hills of Northern California where she fell in love with backpacking and sharing outdoor spaces in community. Motivated by her passion for human connection and community wellbeing, Posie studied Sociology and Public Health at UC Davis, where she worked as a wilderness and climbing guide on the weekends. Her excitement for outdoor leadership and working with youth led Posie to seek out seasonal roles at Camp Tawonga where she worked as a wilderness guide and program manager, and as an outdoor educator at Slide Ranch in Marin and High Trails Outdoor Education Center in Colorado.

Posie comes to ETC eager to devote her energy to an organization focused on expanding access to and facilitating inclusive outdoor adventures. As the Sea Kayak Operations Manager, she hopes to share curiosity and meaningful connections to nature while getting to channel her love of people and the outdoors in a new setting.
