2023 Regatta: Saturday, October 21st, 2023

The annual Sea Trek Regatta is a chance for the Bay Area paddling community to share in a fun and challenging day paddling on the San Francisco Bay. Come join us on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 for the most fun sea kayaking event of the year. The Regatta is open to people of all abilities, sea kayakers, stand-up paddlers, outriggers, and other paddling crafts.

With a variety of race classes and courses, the Regatta is perfect for paddlers looking to race competitively as well as those who are just looking for a spirited paddling event to support a great cause!

This year’s Regatta will be capped at 200 racers, so don’t wait to register. Registration is open!

The race fee gets you a paddling shirt with this year’s Regatta logo, a delicious lunch, drink ticket, safety boats on the race course and a great time. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE RACE FEES go to ETC’s Scholarship Fund.

This year, we’re back with three traditional Regatta race courses:

  1. Richardson Bay – 3.45 miles, Recreational Paddlers
  2. Angel Island – 9.5 miles, Intermediate to Advanced Paddlers
  3. Golden Gate Bridge – 13 miles, Advanced to Elite Paddlers

Register for one of these Regatta courses on Sea Trek’s website. We can’t wait to see you on the water for this community event once again!

Not interested in racing on Saturday? Join us for a guide trip to Angel Island on Sunday, October 22. The entire sign up fee goes to ETC’s Scholarship Fund.

  • ETC Angel Island Picnic Paddle | $150/person
    9:00 am – 3:00 pm
This trip is guided by ETC and will include a picnic on Angel Island (bring your own picnic lunch). This is a fairly strenuous paddle of approximately 3 hours on the water, good for experienced paddlers. Email kayak@etctrips.org to sign up.
